Xantech MRC44 4 source 4 zone multiroom controller 2x 25w per zone and composite video distribution.

The MRC44 pulls together IR control, video distribution, audio distribution and amplification into one convenient easy to use system. Audio and video is provided for 4 zones but with the addition of a second MRC44 this can expand to 8 zones. Full control is made via keypads in the zone plus IR control through their IR receivers.

4 sources can be plugged into the MRC44 feeding in both composite video and analogue L/R audio. Each zone then has a composite video feed, 2x 25w for speakers and a keypad output connection. The Keypads provide control for the main unit and button control of the attaches sources as programmed during your installation. They also have an inbuilt IR eye so these commands can be learnt into a remote control. Any command not for the MRC44 itself will pass through the system and appear on the zone and common IR emitters. The MRC44 keypads can be replaced with SmartPad SPLCD touchscreens if preferred or both can be used. A maximum of 2 keypads can be used in any one zone with easy daisy chaining via cat5.

The keypad controller provides source selection and control over the main unit and source, feedback as to the zone status and volume setting plus the IR receiver receives and passes commands for the MRC44 and source equipment. By creating MACRO commands in the MRC44 either a button press or IR command can activate a string of commands to perform multiple tasks at once - up to 40 IR commands per string.
