The Ascensia Series AC642 single point stereo speaker is designed to be mounted in the ceiling. This exceptional speaker is ideal for patios, garages, hallways, bathrooms, and small rooms where installation space is limited and stereo pairs are not required. The AC642 features left and right channels projecting from a single speaker. The crossover on the rear of the speaker accepts both left and right speaker wire and the dual tweeters on the bridge provide left and right output. The dual ±3dB switches allows installers to increase or decrease the output of the tweeters. The AC642 6½-inch poly graphite woofer has been optimized for perfect sound dispersion. The dual pivoting 1-inch silk dome tweeters remain free of distortion or edginess at even very high frequencies. Construction of the ABS frame and baffle with a rigid aluminum grille are extremely sturdy. Both the grille and frame can easily be painted in any color for a perfect integration into any decor. Quick install brackets are available to ease installation of the speaker, by working as a template.
