This kit uses the A-BUS/DIRECT speakers to provide high quality amplified audio. No keypad is required as the amplifier is fitted in the right speaker. Therefore the Cat5e cable from the hub runs all the way to the right speaker. The IR receiver in the speaker allows control of the speaker for volume and source selection. Each pair of speakers comes with the mini remote control.
